Tianjin University and Politecnico di Milano hold Educational Cooperation Talks
On February 8th, 2021, Hu Wenping, Vice President of Tianjin University (TJU), held an online meeting with Giuliano Noci, Vice Rector in charge of China Affairs at Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi), to discuss future educational cooperation between the two universities. Representatives from the School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering (PoliMi), the Office of International Cooperation (TJU), School of Civil Engineering (TJU), and School of Architecture (TJU) attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Giuliano Noci introduced the international strategy of PoliMi. He hoped that the two universities could further expand their educational cooperation and gradually establish a strategic partnership. Representatives from the School of Architecture and the School of Civil Engineering introduced recent developments in their departments. Hu Wenping said that PoliMi enjoys an outstanding academic reputation in many fields, such as architecture and design. As the two universities have a solid foundation for cooperation in the field of architecture, he hoped the two could jointly cultivate more outstanding talents in the future. The two universities also exchanged in-depth views on future cooperation planning in the fields of architecture and civil engineering.
 
Politecnico di Milano is one of the most outstanding polytechnic universities in Europe. It enjoys a global reputation in the fields of engineering, architecture, and design. In 2020, TJU and PoliMi reached a consensus on their cooperation for a dual doctoral degree program and have successfully and jointly applied their international cooperation training program for innovative talents.
