ASEAN - China Scholar Program

Introduction

The ASEAN - China Scholar Program, which began in 2018, is a fellowship program initiated by the ASEAN-China Network for Cooperation and Exchanges among Engineering and Technology Universities (ACNET-EngTech) at Tianjin University (TJU). It aims to provide funded exchange opportunities for ASEAN and China scholars. ASEAN scholars are welcomed to TJU for a short visit ranging from 2-12 weeks. In case an actual visit is not feasible, the alternative can be the utilization of virtual lectures and seminars. Faculty from ASEAN countries can join TJU faculty online in fields of interest to both sides and deliver various courses and lectures to students. The program provides great flexibility to scholars. Specific research projects and academic activities will be determined by participants and the hosting school on a case-by-case basis.
