Delegation from Advanced Materials Visits TJU

On September 13, 2013, a delegation from the journal,Advanced Materials, visited Tianjin University (TJU). The delegation was headed by Dr. Peter Gregory, Editor in Chief ofAdvanced Materials.
TJU Vice President Yuan Yingjin met with the guests. Representatives from the School of Sciences, the School of Materials Science and Engineering, the Office of Science and Technology, and the Office of International Cooperation also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Vice President Yuan gave a presentation on TJU's history, research achievements in the fields of bioengineering and biomaterials, and international cooperation. Specifically, he expected TJU would enhance cooperation withAdvanced Materials. Dr. Gregory mentioned high publication rate of articles from Chinese mainland inAdvanced Materials. In addition, he signified that they were looking forward to carrying out various forms of cooperation with TJU and highlighted cooperation programs with other research Institutes and universities in China.
