Top Management of Alexandria Visits TJU to Facilitate Collaboration

On August 18, 2014, a delegation from Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc. (Alexandria), headed by Ms. Lynne Zydowsky, Alexandria Summit President and Scientific Advisor to the CEO, visited Tianjin University (TJU). TJU President Li Jiajun met with the guests. Also present at the meeting were Prof. Hao Xishan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Honorary President of Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital, senior officials from Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, and representatives from Tianjin Co-Innovation Center of Chemical Science and Engineering and TJU’s Office of International Cooperation.

President Li welcomed TJU’s old friends. He pointed out that effective communication channels had been established between both sides, and expected substantial collaboration in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering and health science through joint hosting an international academic summit. Ms. Zydowsky briefed President Li on the preparation for the summit and expressed her appreciation for Tianjin’s and TJU’s great support on behalf of Joel Marcus, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Alexandria. An in-depth discussion on cooperation details were discussed afterward.

During their visit, Alexandria delegation visited the TJU School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology and met with preventatives of the school.
