Tianjin University Holds Talks with King’s College London

On February 1, Hu Wenping, vice president of Tianjin University (TJU) held an online meeting with Helen Bailey, the associate vice president of the King’s College London (KCL) and discussed the future cooperation and development.

The meeting opened with a speech by Helen Bailey introducing KCL’s concept of international cooperation. She thought highly of TJU as one of China’s prestigious universities and hoped that the two sides can established a long-term partnership of education. Hu Wenping introduced TJU’s achievements in education and scientific research. He appreciated the longstanding cooperation between TJU and KCL and looked forward to further development.

After in-depth exchanges about educational cooperation, both sides agreed that as COVID-19 has brought changes to international cooperation, TJU and KCL would remain close ties and facilitate further cooperation. In addition, they discussed the cooperation in scientific research.

As the world’s top comprehensive research university, King’s College London is ranked 31st in the QS World Ranking 2021 and performed well among the top ranking in the fields of medicine, liberal arts and social sciences.
