TJU Welcomes Orly Fromer, President Advisor of Tel Aviv University

On September 10, 2014, Orly Fromer, President Advisor of Tel Aviv University, visited Tianjin University (TJU) and was welcomed by TJU President Li Jiajun. Representatives from TJU’s College of Management and Economics and the Office of International Cooperation attended the meeting.

President Li warmly welcomed Ms. Fromer for visiting TJU again. He pointed out that, the two universities could build a bridge of friendship between people of the two cities through educational cooperation in various fields. Ms. Fromer reviewed the friendly communication between Tianjin’s Mayor Huang Xingguo and her colleagues at Tel Aviv University during his visit in Tel Aviv. She expressed that TJU was an important partner of her university, and hoped to strengthen cooperation in technology transfer, student exchanges and the development of courses on innovation and entrepreneurship. Afterwards, Ms. Fromer discussed in-depth with representatives from the College of Management and Economics on related details.

During her visit, Ms. Fromer also visited the History Museum and the Feng Jicai Research Institute of Literature and Art.
