Dragon Boat Festival Home Visit

Georgia Tech (GT) students participating in the 2013 China Summer Program (CSP) celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival with TJU students’ families. Following their hosts’ instruction, they tried to make Zongzi, a pyramid-shaped dumpling made of glutinous rice and wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves that gives it a special flavor. That experience provided them a great opportunity to immerse in Chinese culture.
