Nanyang Technological University Visits TU for Joint Educational Program

A delegation fromNanyang Technological University (NTU), headed byVice President-DesignateEr Meng Hwa, visited TU on the afternoon of April 14. Vice President Denghua Zhong welcomed the guests together with representatives fromSchool of Environment Science and Technology, School of Civil Engineering, School of Software Engineering, College of Management and Economics, Graduate School, Office of Science & Technology, Office of Undergraduate Affairs and International Cooperation Office.

Collaboration on joint education on graduate level, research, student mobility and faculty cooperation between the two universities was the focus of the discussion. Vice President Zhong mentioned that the two universities have had successful cooperation in the past few years with increased high-level exchange visits and TU was ready to work more closely with NUT in the time to come. After expressing his appreciation for TU’s hospitality, NTU Vice President Er Meng Hwa mentioned that new model of cooperation between the two universities especially in the area ofenvironmental science and engineering, digital animation and business management can be explored. At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed that the cooperation between the two partieswould contribute positively to the education, research and social service between the two universities as well as the friendship between the two countries.
