On December 30, Associate Professor Zisheng Zhang, TU graduate and Vice Dean of International Affairs of the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Engineering, visited Tianjin University. After meetings with TU faculty members from School of Chemical Engineering, administrators from the Office of Student Affairs and International Cooperation Office, Prof. Zhang and his TU colleagues reached consensus on the collaboration in areas of joint student training, faculty exchange, and summer programs based on the shared interest in different areas of engineering. Prof. Zhang mentioned that he was particularly excited when he read from the Internet that his alma mater launched the Strategy of Internationalization not long ago. He believed that would be a great step for Tianjin University, and he'd like to help bridge the cooperation between TU and UO.
