"Green Energy"-- non-grain fuel ethanol production technology of Tianjin University takes the lead in China

Recently, Tianjin University won the First Prize of 2010 Science and Technology Progress Award of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for a non-grain green energy project. The Demonstration Project of Fuel Ethanol Production from Cassava”, which is built with a capacity of 200,000 ton per year, is the leading technology application project jointly launched by Tianjin University and Guangxi COFCO Biomass Energy Co., Ltd, and has been widely accepted by many key biomass production projects in China, which makes Tianjin University the leader in the country with bio-fuel production technology.
