"Tianjin University Day" Series Activities took place along with Peiyang Chorus US Performance Tour

In order to promote the international influence of Tianjin University, “Tianjin University Day” series activities took place along with Peiyang Chorus US performance tour. The series activites were held in US universities including Indiana University, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), University of Chicago,University of Pittsburgh,Youngstown State University, George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, University of Delaware, etc. Through exchanges, exhibition, presentation, various of leaflets and pamphlets, Tianjin University, as the first modern university in China, has been very well introduced to American people in aspects of its history, education, research, discipline, faculty, international education, international exchanges, outstanding alumni and campus culture. “Tianjin Uiversity Day” series activities, together with the wonderful performance by Peiyang Chorus, has achieved an unexpected effect in introducing the University, the city of Tianjin and China, and also laid a good foundation for the future exchanges and collaboration between Tianjin University and US renowned universities.
