Nepalese Ambassador to China Visits TU

On November 27^th, Tanka Prasad Karki, Nepalese Ambassador to China and Rajaram Bartaula, First Secretary of Nepal Embassy to China visited Tianjin University. President GONG Ke, and Assistant President ZHANG Lixin met with the guests respectively. Professor YANG Fuling, director of ICO, Professor CHEN Jinhe, associate dean of the School of International Education and Professor LI Qiang, deputy director of ICO joined the meetings.

Professor GONG Ke extended warm congratulations on the 50^thanniversary of Tribhuvan University from which the Ambassador graduated. Professor ZHANG Lixin expressed his sincere welcome for more Nepalese students to study in Tianjin University. Ambassador Tanka Prasad Karki thanked Professor GONG, and also proposed more scholarship opportunities for Nepalese students from families with economic difficulty.
