Vice President ZHONG Denghua Attended Microsoft Techfest 2008

From March 2 to 8, Prof. ZHONG Denghua, Vice President of Tianjin University was invited to attend Microsoft Techfest 2008 in Seattle. During the festival, he discussed with Microsoft senior management on further cooperation between universities and Microsoft. He also visited Microsoft headquarters and “Microsoft Home”, and met with TU alumni working in Microsoft. During his stay in US, Vice President ZHONG visited University of Washington, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Chicago and Chinese-American Society. He introduced the “talents strategy” of Tianjin University, and reached a consensus with IIT on collaboration in the field of civil engineering.
