Panasonic Delegation Visited Tianjin University

On 11 May, 2007, a delegation headed by Mr. NAKAMURA Yasuhiro, General Manager of Panasonic R&D Center China Co., Ltd. (PRDCC) visited Tianjin University (TU), with the purpose of concluding the Joint Project of Effective CO2 Heat Pump System and discussing future collaboration between PRDCC and the University. The project conclusion meeting was chaired by Prof. MA Yitai from School of Mechanical Engineering. Prof. YANG Fuling, Director of International Cooperation Office, and Prof. ZHANG Junhong, Vice Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Mr. NAKAMURA Yasuhiro addressed the meeting respectively. They reviewed the project's development and thought highly of the great contribution by Prof. MA Yitai. Both sides fully affirmed the achievements and expressed the hope to further the cooperation in more areas of common interest. Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. is one of the largest multinational companies in the whole world, whose headquarters is in Kadoma, Osaka, Japan. It deals with the development, production and distribution of various kinds of electronic products. In 2004, Tianjin University and PRDCC started the collaboration on the project of Effective CO2 Heat Pump System.
