Tianjin University EMBA Degree Conferral Ceremony held

On October 26, 2006, Tianjin University EMBA Degree Conferral Ceremony was held in TU Science Library. President GONG Ke, Chairman of University Academic Degree Council attended the ceremony. Representatives from School of Management and Graduate School joined the event. President GONG, on behalf of Tianjin University, conferred EMBA Degree Certificates to the 29 degree receivers, and expressed his congratulations and expectation to the graduates. Tianjin University is among the first universities in the nation that set up EMBA courses. EMBA program of TU aims at training high level administrators to serve the national and local economic construction. Some courses are particularly designed to meet the needs of the economic development and opening of Tianjin, especially TEDA, by combining various teaching methods such as case study, investigation and research, presentations and lectures, etc. Among EMBA instructors of TU, 90% have experience in executive business administration and 30% are foreign teachers.
