Prof. Shintaro Furusaki from Sojo University Visited Tianjin University

On the afternoon of September 26, Prof. YU Jianxing, Vice President of TJU greeted President representative of Sojo University Prof. Shintaro Furusaki from Faculty of Biotechnology and Life Science and gave a brief talk on the history and distinct strengths of TU. Prof. Shintaro Furusaki introduced Sojo University's development and forwarded the congratulatory letter from President of Sojo University to Prof. GONG Ke, President of TJU. Prof. SUN Yan from School of Chemical Engineering also joined the meeting. Founded in 1949, Sojo University has 5 faculties and 13 disciplines. In December, 2004, Tianjin University and Sojo University signed a MOU for academic exchange.
