Delegation from Ehime University Visited Tianjin University

On August 21, 2006, Prof. KOBAYASHI Shinya from Faculty of Engineering, Ehime University, Japan visited Tianjin University. Prof. TAN Xin, Director of International Cooperation Office, met the guests in No.2 Meeting Room. Prof. SU Yuting, Head of Department of Electronic Information Engineering, Associate Prof. LIU Li, School of Agriculture and Bioengineering also joined the meeting. After receiving welcome from Prof. TAN Xin, Prof. KOBAYASHI Shinya forwarded a Greeting Letter from President of Ehime University to Prof. GONG Ke, President of TJU and then gave a brief talk on the history, discipline and international exchange of Ehime. Representatives from School of Electronic Information Engineering also introduced the history, education and research of the school. Both sides reviewed the exchange history between the two universities since 1992 when the MOU was signed for the first time, and expressed their hope to strengthen mutual understanding through faculty and graduates exchange and joint research, taking the exchange in the field of Electronic Engineering as a start. Ehime University, founded in 1949, has 84,000 undergraduates, 1,300 graduates and 6 colleges including Law & Literature, Education, Natural Science, Medicine, Engineering and Agriculture.
